UNTIL DAWN
Amb. Diana Mehmeti
If you will love me oh star fallen from heaven, You who blind me when you shine like the sun.
You tear my soul like a flower in the field, You who stun me at first glance.
You who if you want play with me like a toy, You make my heart a mountain, My hope a hill.
You who make me, the brave one, like a kitten, Just have a coffee, on a Sunday of dreams.
You whom God has miraculously made, Birds with silver beaks have drawn you,
You who burn inside and outside, You set me on fire as if I were straw.
If you want to know like honey in the comb, When you pass by me I change two three colors,
To spite the moon you wink at me, I from confusion will close both.
Don’t send me kisses, like flowers in a string, For you would go around the world twice,
If you truly want me – come give salvation, Let’s forget ourselves in a kiss until dawn…
